"Two couples and two kids for 10 days. The Casita gave privacy for the other couple and the main house lower level and patio was an excellent common area for everybody. Pool was great for kids. Kitchen had everything. 7 minutes to beach and large grocery. Garden was great and we cooked on the bbq. I would recommend this to anybody. Google maps does not recognize the address or name of the church so I would get a pin for getting there the first time. Easy parking on street, and fun way to walk...

"The house is located on a beautiful, very local and quiet area of Calheta. It is way up the hill, so views are spectacular but you need a car as walking to store, cafes, restaurants is too much given the altitude. The place was really clean, modern, with beautiful garden. Kitchen is compact with quite limited supply of equipment but enough if you are not planning to make five course meals during your stay. There is nearby Levada trail if you start walking upwards to the mountain. Recommend...

"We absolutely loved our stay here. Every morning we went out onto the balcony and looked out over the ocean and, in the evening, watched the sun set. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans and dishes, and there is a large fridge. The bed was very comfortable - not too hard or too soft - and we slept well every night. We found it to be a great launching point for the activities we had planned at the following locations: Porto Moniz, the natural pools in Seixal, the beautiful pebble beach at Ribeira Janela, and Levada 25 fontes.
