"Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"I have stayed in a lot of hotels including 5 star. The Menta City Hotel rates right at the top of my list. We stayed in the Junior Suite with Jacuzzi, the decoration was stylish, as it was throughout the hotel. We had amazing views of the sea from our balcony and I could not fault anything. Good choice of breakfast from the rooftop restaurant with stunning views. Staff were excellent, George on reception was very helpful and also made the best cocktail. Would I recommend this hotel? I certainly would and I look forward to my next visit."

"Beautiful place! Staff was very friendly! Rooms were cleaned everyday, and at night house keeping would come in and see if you needed more waters or towels. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because breakfast was the same thing everyday, I stayed there for 11 nights, and after a few days I got tired of eating the same thing. It would be nice if they would change it up with different options. Also, Maybe try covering up the fruits because there was nats flying around and landing on the fruit which was gross. "
