My husband and I spent a week here for part of our honey moon and couldn’t have been more impressed! It was truly the highlight of our trip. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, the staff is amazingly attentive and friendly, amenities were outstanding, five stars all around! If you are looking for a place to stay around and relax, this is absolutely it. We didn’t want to explor Chania much, so this wasn’t an issue, but it is a bit far from the town. However, the hotel offers so many experiences to enjoy every day (wine tasting, snorkeling, water activities, cooking classes, a full spa, etc).
Amazing! Literally amazing all around! The hotel is new and modern. Very upscale and well designed. Great location. Not really on a white sandy beach, but the swimming area is great. Room was very large and well designed. Huge bathroom with spacious shower and a tub. Included breakfast was amazing - one of the best we ever had. The staff is so friendly and helpful and well trained. Everyone had a smile and super accommodating. Minor issue was addressed quickly and with class. This is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at and definitely the best hotel on Crete. Management at the hotel is doing a great job! We cannot be happier! Thank you!
We spent 6 nights here for our 10-year anniversary and loved it. The hotel and grounds are stunning, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety. On-site dining is convenient but pricey (as expected). The Italian restaurant was fine, but not super memorable. We mostly ate dinner in Chania.
The spa is calm and relaxing, and I had one of the best massages ever. 60 minutes for 140 euros.
Our favorite part of our stay was lounging by the pools and on the sunbeds by the ocean. The beds are incredibly comfortable with food and drink service right to your chair, and you can't beat the gorgeous ocean views!
Our standard room was modern, spacious, and well-equipped, with plenty of closet space and a large smart TV that was easy to log into our desired streaming services.
The only drawback for us is the location, about 30 minutes from Chania. We knew this was going to be the case, so we had a car to take day trips and spend the nights in Chania's old town.
Overall, a beautiful resort with outstanding amenities and perfect for a special occasion!
New property in Chania … exceptional facility and staff … superb FIVE star experience
Enjoyed the experience immensely, even though they had been open for only a few months … they delivered an exceptional experience. We had the junior suite with a swimming pool, spacious and elegant. You almost don’t want to leave your room. Manos, the operations manager was warm, caring and welcoming. The facilities: 3 swimming pools with excellent seating, gym: state of the art, and multiple restaurants were exceptional. Thank you Marriott Chania
The hotel is new and beautiful. Good quality materials used. The area is so beautiful and the sea is perfect for snorkeling. Hotel makes you feel you wabt to be healthy and fit (nice healthy food options and nice fitness classes). Maybe not suitable for very small kids due the many rocks around (however many nice pools) but a fantastic choice for Crete- feels luxurious and quiet. Kids club staff is fantastic and although I was not so sure about kids club in the basement conference room (the outside designated kids club area is too hot in August) my kids loved it. Movie nights outside were very much appreciated! Amazing experience!

Stunning setting and what we thought was going to be an amazing stay. Might be our fault for going to a hotel in the first week but as the week went on, the following happened:
- charged £700 more because we booked via Expedia - why has this happened?
- no systems internally are working, everything was difficult
- washing took 2.5 days to happened, when we called up and asked where it was, they said they would find it and ring back but no response till we called the following morning
