Sage N Sand Motel

8/10 Good

"I booked 3 separate rooms and we added a 4th. First off you can tell the owner take pride in keeping rooms and property clean. Also pet friendly for a fee. However there are some issues. Our room was a 2 queen beds. full kitchen. Very cute. But there was no shower curtain, inconvenient . The kitchen appliances have seen better days. Microwave front was melted. Stove was very scratched up and hot burner light permanently on. No coffee supplied for coffee maker. If your not going to supply coffee, then remove the coffee maker. No dish soap or towels provided to wash dishes either. I purchased everything and left behind. Maybe they'll get the idea. The other three rooms had shower curtains, so im not sure why ours didn't. Appliances were in good shape, but still no supplies for washing dishes or coffee. One room had a definite musty smell. When asked if another room was available he went on a rant about how clean the rooms are. First off, musty is usually a sign of mold, not necessarily how clean rooms are. My daughter just switched rooms with my granddaughter as she has allergies. Other than that rooms are nice and comfortable. Coffee is available in office from 7 to 11. Pool is closed. Pet friendly. Good location."
