Waterfront Cabin on trophy trout stream, fire pit, smart tv, fireplace
Situated on a level acre of stunning mountain property. Guests will enjoy over 200 feet of river frontage that lies directly in front of the cabin. Enjoy all the fall festivals in North Georgia, a custom fire pit overlooking the water, a charcoal grill, covered porch with a swing and outdoor eating area.
This cabin is so cute and quaint but a beautiful property! It is truly unique with character even though it is smaller than the big cabin next door.
We’ve tried to keep as much of the original charming aspects of this cabin while we bring it into the 21st century. It has not been touched since the 70’s.... so when I’ve shown it to friends, they immediately feel like they are at their grandparents’ cabin but with a modern twist. The interior was painted the classic French Grey. It has the classic cabin feel on the inside with knotty pine wood throughout. Both cabins have an open concept floor plan and both have stone gas log fireplaces.
It currently has one bedroom on the main level with a king bed. The upstairs loft has two antique full sized beds that are original to the house but new mattresses. The bathroom has been totally renovated with walk-in shower with tile bench and new stackable large capacity Samsung washer & dryer. The kitchen is well-stocked. The linens are all new. Kitchen appliances are all new - refrigerator, microwave, and gas cooktop with oven. The living room and loft area have LoveSac sectional sofas that can be arranged to be sleeper sofas (twin bed or queen) for an extra guest.
There are three steps (with hand rails) on the outside to enter the house. At that point, on the main level, there aren’t any further steps to the master bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. There is a loft with 8 steps up to it that has two full beds.
We have up to two kayaks that are available for rental. They are “sit-in” as opposed to “sit-on” kayaks. Let us know in advance.
This quaint cabin is right next door to the Waterfront Lodge also listed on VRBO as listing 1944456. Can be rented separately or together..... here is the link..... https://t.vrbo.io/JDwmlU9JHhb

Very relaxing by the river, we had a great time and will definitely book again. Great host, great communication with easy check-in/check-out procedures.
We loved everything about our stay. From the cozy and charming cottage to the beautiful view of the river. We kicked back and relaxed by the fire pit and spent most of the day catching trout. The cottage had everything we needed and was the perfect getaway! We can’t wait to go back with our kids and catch more fish!
We had a great time at the cabin. It was cozy and the river was lovely. Caught two nice rainbow trout and a big ole brown trout; hooked into a few more monsters that got off the hook before I could land em too. Ashleigh was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
It was perfect for the two of us with the dogs! I had one who loved walking in the creek and my other dog was in love with the grass, he would roll down the hill stopping before the water. Exactly what we were looking for !Ashleigh is amazing!
Ashleigh was a great host. The cabin is cozy & rustic, with some modern upgrades. Very comfortable bed, hot water & pressure made for a great shower, the backyard on the creek is a serene and natural setting… very peaceful. Will definitely go back there.
This is an amazing, private, quiet, clean getaway residence. Up in the mountains but not too far from the city. The host Ashleigh was very accommodating, responded to communication in a timely manner, and provide more than enough amenities. I give this location⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hostess Ashleigh Is such a kind and authentic soul… she knows what a person needs to find their calm. If you find anything not perfect about this place then… I’m sorry, that’s on you because this place is remarkable! And if something isn’t right… Ashleigh will move mountains to make it so !! just let her know. this place is clean and has good water and is just steps from the most beautiful trout stream you will ever put your feet in.
It’s remarkable… I won’t want to rave too much about it for fear that it will always be booked and I’ll never get back… Enjoy your stay… it’s memory you will cherish
Great space for a small family or group! I stayed with 3 adults and it was just enougj space to feel like we could spread out a bit. The kitchen area has good basics lile sheet pans, pot, crockpot, coffee pods and drip brewer, and french press. The fridge holds enough food for a small group and the eat-in kitchen was great for our needs.
The beds in the loft got rave reviews from two 40 year olds and I loved the sheets. The house was easy to relax in. I will caution that the stairs to the loft is steep, so I only went up once.
The bathroom was supplied with shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We didnt need to bring anything except paper towels, toilet paper, and our own food.
But the yard, you ask? Amazing. My dog loved it, i loved it, we lived it. Hard to pass up a chance to sit right by a river and hear the wonderful sound of running water.
Thank you Ashleigh, for your great communication, smooth checkin process, and a great place to get some R and R.

Adorable little house
My husband and I like to go somewhere together 2 or 3 times a year. We both like the outdoors. The inside of the house was so cute and it was clean with pretty much all we needed. The instructions to gain access were easy, but the directions were from Atlanta and we came in from Chattanooga side. We had to back-track a little bit because we passed our turn. I am glad we got there before dark because the gravel road is rough. It's not very private either. The neighbors can look right into the back yard. I gave 2 stars on accuracy of description because there is NO hot tub (like advertised) and the firewood we had to search for. It was behind a shed covered by a piece of metal with potting soil stacked on it. It looked grown up & "snaky". I loved the creek behind the house and we did try to fish some. The yard and back porch need some TLC. The yard needed weed eating. The pots of plants at the fire pit would have looked nice if they weren't surrounded by tall grass. You can see where the flowers are coming up from the ground and they will be pretty when they begin blooming. The solar lights at night were nice. We drove into Ellijay and loved the little town. The square is a busy place with people and it is dog friendly. It's a round-about with eating places, antique shops, and I loved the vintage record shop, myself.
All that being said, we did enjoy our weekend.
Ashleigh was awesome!! The living room area needs a better smell. Musky odor! Water had an unusual odor as well. Everything else was awesome!!!

Uncomfortable and wet
Yard was a 10 out of 10. The whole house was moist and smelled of mildew. Couch was very uncomfortable and had a horrible smell. Left some bags on the floor and they were dripping wet when I picked them up. Leaks in the bathroom and kitchen ceilings and mold on the walls in kitchen and bathroom. Surrounding areas and town were great so luckily we did not have to hang out at the house. Box fun was loud next to the master bedroom, running 24/7 in the utility closet.
Def recommend this cute spot for a weekend getaway. Appreciate the owner/Ashley -when we got there the house and the lights were all ready for us to enjoy!
