"The hotel was gorgeous - timeless, classy and well appointed. The only disappointment was at the speak easy where I ordered a cocktail and was brought a Taro card. As a Christ follower - it was offensive to me. I asked the waiter to take it back. "

"What a property!!! If you're looking for flawless accommodations in the Casco Viejo area of Panama City, Hotel Plaza Herrera is it! The attention to detail in its design, the spacious rooms, luxury and spectacular hotel restaurant simply astounded me! Staff are absolutely lovely. The only problem some might have is the fact the property doesn't have an elevator but it's only three stories (staff deliver your luggage to your room) so only those with serious mobility issues might think twice. Location is near everything! I stayed here before a cruise from Colon and an Uber was only about $70 for the 1 hour and 10 minute ride to the terminal. Oh! And you have to check out the restaurant's bathroom floor and sinks: copper US pennies!! Even the door hinges are brass fixtures featuring the hotel logo--as I said, attention to detail! Amazing!"
