Clean, spaceous living area. We were a but surprised that we could only use the swimming pool for an additional fee, which was quite expensive in addition to the price of the accommodation. Perfect to explore Edinbugh by bus (aprox. 1 hr).

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We verbleven 3 nachten in de stacaravan. Deze was gedateerd, maar redelijk goed schoon. Doordat alles zo oud is (vloerbedekking, banken e.d.) en erg muf ruikt maakt het mogelijk een minder schone indruk. Keuken is voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt (nehalve een droogrek). We kregen vooraf duidelijke informatie over het inchecken en de route naar de stacarvan. We mistten echter meer info over de camping zelf, bijvoorbeeld een plattegrond, openingstijden en informatie over het zwembad. Zo kwamen wij er op dag 3 (van 4) pas achter dat je om te kunnen zwemmen niet gewoon een ticket voor het zwembad kunt kopen maar dat je dan een meedraagse activiteiten kaart moet kopen. Zodat we 94 pond (110 euro) moesten betalen voor 1x zwemmen terwijl we dit dus op dag 1 hadden kunnen halen en dan elke dag hadden kunnen gaan. Ook bleek het grootste deel van het zwembad dicht en blijkt die glijbaan zo pijnlijk en ongemakkelijk dat we daar maar 1x af gegaan zijn. De activiteiten kaart was ook voor activiteiten, maar die bleken allemaal al uitverkocht. De app van Haven, waar je steeds op gewezen werd is voor Nederlanders niet te downloaden (krijg melding: niet beschikbaar in jouw land). De camping zelf is erg ongezellig van opzet, alleen maar oude stacaravans op een veld. Geen decoratie, groen ertussen e.d. Locatie tov Edinburgh is top, je bent met ov in korte tijd in de stad.
