Good location but not for everyone

Stayed in apt 4 for 3 nights. The place was clean and close to sight seeing. If you are traveling without kids, it’s great. But for a family of 4, it’s a bit tight. The bar next door got noisy at times - can hear rowdy people outside and bottles being dumped in the dumpster in the courtyard.

Lovely property

The apartment is very spacious on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Lovely big windows. High ceilings. Nice moldings. Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious shower. Lovely place . My only recommendation is the addition of a hair dryer.

I pre-paid 30 pounds extra to have an early check in which I was told was no problem. When we arrived at the early check in time the previous visitors had not yet left and were told the room was not ready. We did not get access until 2 hours later. When I asked for a refund the property has ghosted me and will not respond. This is a smart hotel which means no one is on site. The experience was good up until that point. I get things happen but I should not have to pay for a service I did not receive. Just refund the early check in cost. Not that difficult to salvage the situation!

Good communication re entry. Comfy , clean bed. Central location, good array of breakfast places round about (advise book at weekend) Bedside table & window ledge in bedroom dusty. Couldnt get tv to work . It kept saying no signal please check the power of device. Sadly no toaster Would go back

Noise from the pub below was very unpleasant. Main room is nice. The kitchen worked. The bed in the bedroom was short. Felt like a small double. It was 6 feet long exactly, not much use for someone taller than 6 feet, like me. Not much space to get to the other side of the bed. COuld not have fit 4 people comfortably as advertised. We had a bit of trouble with water in bathroom in morning. It shot out with air pockets and the kitchen water I ran for a while as it first came out a bit cloudy. The bar closed at 1am...so their quiet rule of 11pm is out the door and the people on the street outside the pub until after 11pm very were loud. Location very good Also...got back at 12 and got into the building but the door had reset. The cleaning person let us in and I texted the owner and they apologized and reset the code within 5 min on the text and the code was good.

The property was in a great position and was very clean. We had a problem with heating & Valentina (who works for Monosuites) could not have been more helpful. Only downside was huge extractor fans outside bedroom window that were on for 24hours. Ear plugs were provided!

Great location for exploring Edinburgh

I had a very comfortable stay. The flat was huge and clean. It was useful to have a little kitchen. The location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh on foot and a short walk to the train station. I was unfamiliar with the ways of an unstaffed establishment, but there was kind, patient and helpful communication to guide me via phone conversation and the ROKI link. If you are not used to living near a bustling street like Hanover Street, you may have a bit of trouble sleeping if you are a light sleeper, but that's just the nature of being in a city and part of the excitement. I would stay again.

Perfect location. Modern clean apartment. Freezing on arrival and took a long time to heat up. Heating should have been switched on prior to arrival so apartment was warm at check in. Flat sleeps 4 but only comfy seats was the sofa so could benefit from another couple of comfy seats. Only 3 seats for dining. Toaster would be beneficial.

Sack the cleaner, provide ear defenders

Absolutely beautiful apartment let down by totally unacceptable levels of cleanliness. Crumbs all over the table from the previous guests breakfast. I find this totally unacceptable when this trip was for a 1 year anniversary. Also the noise from nearby pubs, clubs and idiots fighting in the street totally ruined a "romantic night in"

Frustrating stay

My primary complaint about this property is that the listing indicated each room had a washer and this was the main reason I chose this site. Be warned that only 1 room has a washer and you must request it; ours did not. To be fair the suite was clean however I had some other frustrations. There is no info provided in the suite so we had to contact management to get the Wi-Fi password. In the morning I ran out to get coffee and returned to find the front door of the building locked. No code had been provided to get in - thankfully my husband was still inside so I did not have to try reaching the management again. It was a bit noisy at night with the windows open. This property was overpriced give the lack of reported amenities and communication and I would not return.
