A great family getaway cabin
Our family loved staying here. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and easy to navigate. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked for our needs. The grounds are peaceful and fun to explore. We had plenty of room for our family of 8 adults and two small children and can fit more in the future when we hopefully return. The surrounding community is full of hikes and caves to explore. The town is very friendly. We loved our time here and hope to be back again.

Winter & Early Spring Renters Beware
Unfortunately our stay here was very stressful & disappointing. The road condiitons at Duck Creek Village were treacherous & unsafe. It was extremely difficult to navigate the roads in Duck Creek in our 4 wheel drive vehicles, in fact one if the vehicles did get stuck. Prior to check in we received our instructions which stated a 4 wheel drive OR snow chains are needed However, that was not nearly sufficient enough to navigate the roads. Both a 4 wheel drive & chains should be required. In addition, the winter & spring conditions should be clearly stated in the description. Keep in mind we are from Buffalo, NY. Driving in the snow is not new to us, but the horrible conditns of the road were not manageable. Also, the entry stairway into the house were snow & ice covered. Only a handful of salt was left for us to melt the stairs. Understandably, the owners do not have control over the weather. However, the decent & ethical thing to do would have been to let us know there was 10 + feet of snow in the area - with more on the way. At that point, we could have made the decision if we wanted to proceed. We spent 2 days there & decided it was not safe to stay. We contacted the management company, Evolve, to request a refund for the remaining 5 days. The answer from both Evolve & the owners was no. If it was peak season I could understand, but there were no other renters in the area.

Nice home but not as expected
The home was nice. The environment was tough to deal with and we viewed it as spring. However, the conditions were of winter. That is something that should be better communicated as far as the dates that you could expect winter conditions. The amenities in the home we’re not as expected a washer dryer that could barely manage one person, a kitchen stock that was decent 12 forks for 12 people but lots of pots and pans just all over the place towels for 11 people when we had 12 a water heater that could not keep up with our part. after four people the hot water was gone and it would take one hour per person to have hot water after that a wood-burning fireplace that had to be cleaned out by the tenants trash that had to be removed and taken a mile away by the tenants dishes that had to be completely cleaned upon check out food removed from the fridge 100% upon arrival the floors were full of crumbs There was a lot of ice on the stairwell and in the front block area but not enough salt to de ice.

The property is absolutely stunning! It exceeded our expectations, even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The highlight was the spacious balcony and the convenience of having two access doors to the outside. The kids adored the bunk bed room, while the teenagers had a blast in the game room. Although the buckhunter game wasn't working, it didn't dampen our experience. We spent a fantastic New Year's Eve weekend here and found everything we needed. The cabin was impeccably clean and cozy. We can't wait to come back! One thing to note: check the propane in the outdoor grill the minute you get there. Don’t wait until all your food is prepped and then realize it’s out. On a holiday. When everything is closed. ;)

First annual cousin trip to Utah
We came to Utah for a Park City wedding and decided to extend our stay to visit the national parks. We wanted to stay in between Bryce and Zion. Also, we were looking for a large home to enjoy after our hiking we loved your Duck Creek Village home. Yes, it is about an hour’s ride to Zion and from Bryce, but it was worth it. Came back home and had cocktails on porch at the fire pit table and cooked our own dinners in the spacious kitchen. Then retired to the living area with a wood burning stove and large tv.

Scattered Pines Paradise
The cabin was perfectly located in a quiet mountain area, there were deer that wandered through the property everyday. We were thrilled with a thunderstorm and a little mist, and the property owners had a book filled with placed to explore, and directions to different places of interest. It was clean, beautiful, and a pleasure.

Great mountain getaway!
We had a wonderful time at Scattered Pines! The house is as lovely as advertised, and we really enjoyed gathering around the fire table on the deck for dinner and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit at night! There were unusually high temperatures in the area at the time, but the house stayed cool and comfortable with just the windows opened. The area is nicely wooded and we made easy day trips to Cedar Breaks and Kanab. We'd definitely stay here again if we end up back at Duck Creek!

Great family gathering place!
Our family met up at the house from 4 different states. There were 12 of us and we were very comfortable in the house. It was perfect for us. The condition and comfort of the home was better than the pictures. Would definitely stay again!
