Top Đồng Vang Hotel Reviews

InterContinental Halong Bay Resort by IHG

8/10 Good

"Check in with mark was great! We were only there for 12 hours to sleep before taking the cruise We had the last room near electric room"

FLC Halong Bay Golf Club & Luxury Resort

8/10 Good

"Indoor pool is large and warm. Outdoor pool is large and not cold in October. Big delicious breakfast. Only th8Olive restaurant was open for alacarte lunch and dinner. Large menu and food. Two bedroom suite. Larg room. Nice bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Property is a little worn. Air conditioning could be colder. Staff was very helpful."

THE WATSON PREMIUM HALONG HOTEL

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing stay for a very reasonable price! Great staff and hotel amenities. Our group wanted to spend most of our time at the hotel since there isn’t much to do in the area. Additionally, was accommodated with early access to our room and upgraded to a superior room upon arrival. Breakfast was also amazing but wish they’d extend the service to at least 10am."

Paradise Suites Hotel

8/10 Good

"Rooms are spacious but only moderately cleaned, were still quite dusty to my standard. Bath robes have stitches and pockets are falling off. Staff can be more friendly, especially the lady with short hair at Front Desk. Some staff at breakfast were nice enough to ask before cleaning out dishes, while others didn’t. We had to stop them a few time because we didn’t even finish but they just came and took our dishes away without even asking if we were done and whether they could take it. Pool and beach are NOT close to the hotel, pick up and drop off doesn’t run very well, super inconvenient if you travel with small children. We travelled with an infant and she was getting tired while we were at the pool. Called the hotel to ask for a pick up but the Front Desk was quite unpleasant, saying there would be a 15mins wait. We can’t even walk back to the hotel because it’s very far and would take us at least an hour. Overall I would not come back"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Đồng Vang?

The best area to stay in Đồng Vang is the central part of Hạ Long City, particularly around Bãi Cháy Beach and the area close to the Hạ Long International Cruise Port.

Bãi Cháy is the main tourist hub. It's a long, artificial beach with a promenade, and you'll find most of the larger hotels and resorts here. The area is well-developed with a range of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options, including the Hạ Long Night Market. It's also the gateway to the cruise port for exploring Hạ Long Bay.

Couples looking for a relaxing stay with easy access to the water will find Bãi Cháy appealing. Many hotels offer direct beach access or stunning bay views, and there are plenty of options for romantic dinners with a sea breeze. The Sun World Hạ Long Complex, with its cable car and amusement park, is also nearby for a fun day out.

For families, the area around the Hạ Long International Cruise Port offers convenience and modern amenities. This newer development features contemporary hotels, some with family-friendly facilities like swimming pools and kids' clubs.

When is the best time to go to Đồng Vang?

The best time to go to Đồng Vang is during the dry season, which runs from October to April.

During these months, you'll experience pleasant weather with less humidity and sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the area. The temperatures are generally mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, which is comfortable for outdoor activities like boat trips through Hạ Long Bay or discovering the local caves. This period also avoids the typhoon season, ensuring smoother travel plans.

For those looking to avoid larger crowds while still enjoying good weather, visiting in October or April can be particularly appealing. These shoulder months offer a nice balance of comfortable conditions and fewer tourists compared to the peak months of December and January. You'll find it easier to book tours and accommodation, and you might even discover some good value deals.

If your priority is enjoying the beaches and water activities, the warmer dry months of March and April are excellent.
