"Such a well maintained, old hotel in the middle of the most historic part of Norwich. We really appreciated them allowing and being especially kind to our small dogs."

"Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and avoid negative reviews for golf."

"Ideally positioned hotel within walking distance to the city centre but easily accessible via vehicle with parking. Comfortable clean and well appointed room with good decor and clean modern bathroom facilities . Tea/ coffee provided in room. Breakfast package was purchased and breakfast quality and service was superb . Would recommend and we will stay again. "

"We stayed for two nights in August B&B as part of a mini break to the East of England. All staff were welcoming and helpful. The room had a king size bed and the bathroom was large and adequately supplied. Breakfast was a good choice of pastries and hot buffet...dining at 8.15am meant we had no problem with queues or choice of food. The only thing that could have been better was the lack of air conditioning, as our room was very warm on both nights of our stay although a fan was provided upon request."

"Really friendly staff. Lovely sunroom to sit in near reception. Comfortable room with a modern and very clean bathroom. Helpful touch of a much needed fan in the room. Quiet in the room despite not being far from the main road. Helpful that Sainsbury’s is only a five minute walk away, but don’t forget to log your car on the iPads in reception before popping to the shop. "

"It's the people (for me) that make a place. Don't get me wrong, the location, and Caistor Hall itself are both great, but the service we received made this an exceptional experience. We felt right at home, it's posh but without airs & graces, perfect. Michelle was just lovely, so friendly and helpful, knew the property, it's history, and spoke very highly of the owners (important that the leadership of a place like Caistor Hall is right). I think this hotel is a fantastic place for an event, a weekend stay or dinner at the Michelin star restaurant (we didn't on this occasion but if I can get a booking it's on the cards). Massive thanks to all the staff there, made us feel very welcome and we had a lovely stay. 🙏😎🙏 Our room was good, bed was very comfy and we slept well. Breakfast, which was included, was of a very high standard, plenty of options for all tastes. The grounds were amazing (the stunning weather helped!), we would go back in a heartbeat, really loved it here. WiFi is available, plenty of parking, 10 ish minutes from the heart of Norwich."
