« No room service or clean towels for a 3 night stay, I had to call and ask for towels. Pillows were horrible and no parking. A little disappointing for $1700 for a 3 night stay. »

« This is not a typical resort! It is located within a residential area in the mountains it is difficult to navigate with spotty reception. Also the pools including the indoor pool was closed which was a huge bummer! That being said the property right in front of the river is very nice and spacious it was nice walking along the riverside in the cool mornings. Would not recommend to anyone traveling with a baby unless they are excellent in the car all amenities are spread out you will have to drive...

« No chest of drawers, closet or microwave. Knob missing from ac unit. Had to use pliers. Comfortable for one night only. »

« Old but well maintained »

« The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom was very small, though, and the refrigerator smelled. Parking was easy, and the staff was helpful! The breakfast was good and convenient. »

« Room clean and bed was comfortable. »

« This property is well positioned around several food options, it’s new but our room was not vacuumed well and the staff were not welcoming at check in and slow to keep breakfast items stocked .. breakfast was mediocre at best .. did like the layout of the room »

« We stayed here after photographing a wedding nearby for a ten hour day. We were exhausted. The room was nearly $200 for the one night. The TV didnt work and there was a dead cockroach in the corner of the room. »

« Interior accommodations couldn't be better. Play room is awesome, but could use wall mirrors. ;) Exterior was a bit rougher than expected. Seat cushions are weathered, door mat heavily worn, etc... Could use a little TLC so the outside matches the nearly perfect inside. Overall, great place and would recommend highly. »

« Budget friendly should not mean nasty. I’ve stayed at lots of hotels. This place was one of the worst. The room smelled like a dog and a smoker were living in there. It was such an overwhelming smell. The bathroom had not been mopped or cleaned at all. The shower curtain was badly stained. Everything in the bathroom had an oily residue on it. The door had a note that said “deadbolt does not lock”. The air worked fine. There was a dead roach in the bed closest to the door and I could hear rats in...

« Great cabin ! Very friendly host! »

« Motel in Ellijay Cheap and a place to sleep People are nice but rooms are smelling because of humidity and carpets. »

« The outside appearance is very misleading with construction going on and not very presentable, but the room was very clean, hot water for shower, and everything worked nicely in room. Water pressure was low but had hot water. The young lady at check-in was polite and professional. The motel is walking distance to the historical part of Ellijay. »

« It’s a great property and a very beautiful view. »

« Imagine finding a quaint, historic bed & breakfast just steps away from restaurants, bars, shops — and even a sight-seeing train to hop on. It’s all here at the Blue Ridge Inn. The staff is fabulous and the rooms are a great mix of old with modern conveniences that you just can’t find very often. »

« Comfortable bed and pillows. Great location with plenty of parking. Super friendly staff. »

« Dogwood Inn is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, Jim and Cindy made us feel genuinely welcome. Cindy’s breakfasts were absolutely outstanding—homemade, delicious, and one of the highlights of our stay. Jim was equally exceptional: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they both genuinely enjoy taking care of their guests. The property is private, absolutely breathtaking, and feels like a dream—a true luxury retreat...

« The rooms where very. clean. »
