"Murphy acres was a beautiful place to stay. Our toddler absolutely loves being able to see and feed the horses. Definitely would recommend and would love to stay again!!"

"Very clean, family and pet friendly! We would stay here again. Host was great with communication too."

"We had a wonderful weekend stay for our daughter's wedding. The house has been completely renovated with the top-of-the-line furniture and appliances. Every room is exquisitely furnished. We LOVED the fire pit and smores which our hosts graciously supplied. The countryside was quiet and the night-time stars were spectacular. We highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay you have in the area. "

"Great place to stay "

"This place is a real Gem! 10 out of 10 would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was located far enough out of town to be able to see the night sky and but close enough to be able to quickly get to downtown. The cabin was well furnished and had a relaxing style. We would love to stay here again."

"What a beautiful property! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, so we did not get to enjoy as much of the grounds as we would have liked. But we had a very enjoyable stay during Virginia Tech parents weekend. It was an easy trip to and from Blacksburg, and the house offered us a great space to hang out as a family away from the congestion of campus. Bed were all really comfy, beautiful kitchen, cozy sitting areas, and plenty of things to keep us entertained! We will visit again- thank...

"Beautiful property! Cozy cabin! Great outdoor amenities."

"Looking forward to another stay"

"This creekside cottage was pretty much as advertised. It was easy to find, clean and comfortable, and quiet. We had a nice mid-week getaway here and enjoyed local attractions like paddling our kayaks at Carvin's Cove, hiking up to Dragons Tooth, and enjoying an end of hike wine at Beliveau Winery. I would recommend it and would return for another stay, maybe in the fall this time."

"Great stay, perfect for what we needed"

"Kitchen was well stocked and accommodated our group well. Bedrooms were cozy and beautifully decorated. Thanks for a great getaway for Thanksgiving!"

"Beautiful property"

"Fantastic place! Admiring the quality of the carpentry is worth the stay alone, but the host also provide you with everything imaginable to enjoy all the features of the property! Highly recommend!"
