« Great getaway with that classic cabin home charm »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here ! The loft apartment was very clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The apartment was more spacious than I expected. Just a short walk down the yard to the small beach and dock, and we spent great hours kayakng and just sitting on the beach. Kristine and Scott were very friendly, helpful and great to get to know a little. We will definitely be looking to visit and stay there again »

« We had a great week on the river thanks to our fantastic host, Clint. Cottage is a wonderfully thoughtful renovation, set up for lots of fun activities inside and out. Plenty of beds and all the amenities with a superb dock and nice water access. We grilled, baked, caught lots of rays and even a few fish and crabs off the dock. Fun family activities close by, too. Highly recommend! »

« This house has amazing views of the Rappahannock River! What you see in the pictures is what you get. If you are not out swimming in the river, the host has plenty of games to entertain you and your family. What a great property! We will be back in the future! »

« Comfortable beds, plenty of room to stretch out & enjoy each other’s company, reading on the sunporch, water balloons on the lawn, fishing and kite flying on the dock, a visit to Fossil Beach ( the littles went home with three shark teeth), early morning walks at the wildlife preserve, and a lovely celebratory dinner at 1710 Tavern. « This property is a wonderful place to stay if looking for beautiful sun rises and sunsets, beautiful views, and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The home was spacious and wonderful. We loved the central room, containing a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room (open floor plan). This room allowed everyone to be together and enjoy home cooked meals and lively conversation. We spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the river, barbecuing, and spending quality family time together. »
