« We loved everything. We played pickleball, kayaked on the river, enjoyed all of our meals outside under the big oak trees and marveled at the stars by the firepit at night. I only have a few suggestions: the outside table and bar were dirty. The bar table had a huge pile of rocks on it and was covered in leaves and dust and there were no fire pit tools. « This place was extremely hard to find in the pitch blackness that is a typical Texas evening, I did 3 u-turns on 55 because I was afraid to use someone’s driveway. That was really our only issue, The house itself was immaculate, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the amenities. « We had a great, 3 day stay at the Genesis Ranch. There were only two of us so we didn’t need the bunk house, but the main house is great. Clean and well appointed. Further, unlike too many hill-country ranches we have rented, it was uncluttered and new. Roby has done a great job providing a place that feels refreshing to be in. « Beautiful secluded deer camp property! House was as described. Comfortable bedding and family accommodations. Nice back porch to soak in the sunset and hummingbirds (& we saw one deer). Getting to the river isn’t for the elder or weak but once you’re there it’s beautiful. A side by side or golf cart would have been super helpful.
