It was a bit different from what we expected, but definitely in a good way. The owners are both Dutch and they were super helpful and kind from the beginning. There are only 6 rooms in total and we stayed in the Elephant Room. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean. We especially appreciate the fact that it had both a fan and and AC, as it could get quite warm in South Africa.

What a fantastic experience! The staff at Tintswalo were more than accomadating. They recognized our honeymoon with a private wine cellar dinner and spa lunch! We are both big foodies as well! Fantastic location in Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Guides were incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our trip perfect. Up close to leopards, lions, rhino and buffalo. Food was excellent! Lovely quiet property with view over a waterhole. Two swimming pools with one close to our room was very convenient. Beautiful deck around the restaurant. Such a great experience that my partner proposed ❤️ Perfect in every way!

Staff was super friendly and food was good, it was simple and well executed. We thought the whole setup was perfect for.a.safari, it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious and it's what you want when you are in the middle of.the bushes. This was a beautiful hotel, the room was nice and comfortable and filled with wildlife. The food was excellent and so was the staff. The tree-house we stayed at for a night did not meet expectations... we got there just about two minites before sunset and did not have time to take enough pictures and soak it all in. Our hot dinner was ice cold and the toilet did not have the water turned on. Having said that the place was beautiful and romanitically decorated.

Thanks Simbavati for an amazing stay! The staff were all so nice. My boyfriend had cheese allergy, so every meal they either made him something separate or tweaked it for him. Food was excellent. We each had a massage and it was reasonably priced. Our tent was #1. Although it didn't have a clear river view, we had elephants visit us multiple times in our front yard. And last night they prepared our room to celebrate our anniversary.

We loved our 3 nights stay! The whole staff was very friendly and present when needed. We loved our drives with Sarah and Joseph, their knowledge, patience and enthusiasm made the drives extra special. They made great effort to see the animals we wanted to see on each drives. We saw the big 5 from really close, multiple times! We loved the terrace in our lodge facing the river, during breaks we would watch elephants, waterbuck and hippos cross the river. Superbe endroit! La nourriture est excellente. Nous avons eu la chance de voir pleins d’animaux dont 2 rhinocéros blancs. Le personnel est sympathique et toujours prête à nous aider. Nous recommandons vivement!
