"Stunning hotel in superb waterside location. Only stayed 1 night sadly. One of the comfiest beds Ive ever slept on. Very nicely furnished bedrooms. Everywhere spotless. Lovely evening meal in Dolittle restaurant. My visit coincided with very hot weather - beautiful electric blue skies and a sublime view. Fan in room. Didnt visit the pool or spa but from above the infinity pool looked lovely (if relatively small). There are a few short trails you can do around the hotel. Staff were friendly, including Joao who checked me in. No faults at all - this very much falls into the 'treat yourself' category cost wise but I shall definitely return."

"Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed."

"Lovely house in a relatively remote area of the peninsula. The house was bigger than it appeared, maybe 1500 sq ft or more. Just about a 10-12 minute walk down to the beach--one you can swim in (not rocky). A neighbor's dog visited us every day, and the kids looked forward to that. It's a little trouble trying to find the property in certain driving apps, but we figured it out. Only about 15 minutes from the Kerry Cliffs, about 10 from Waterville (where you can schedule a boat to visit Skellig Michael). We would stay there again."

"Elegant old hotel, high level of service. Breakfasts were wonderful with lots of options. We were on the first floor so view was good but I ’m sure upper floors have amazing views. We had a noise issue, with an old radiator that needed to be bled on occasion or it made a loud jackhammer sound in the wall of our room. Happened twice, once early in the morning. Staff took care of it promptly but it was annoying. But it is a very old place."
