Very nice experience at the Svelte hotel

We had a great stay at the Svelte hotel. The room was very comfortable and the hotel staff we met all responded promptly and efficiently to our requests, from front desk to cleaning team. Also convenient for business travel and sitting in video calls. Would stay again.

We love the service and location of the hotel. The front staff are really attentive and accommodating to our needs/requests. Especially when we requested to change room. Special thanks to Jeet who look after our room everyday. It really make a big difference (we slept well the whole time of our stay). We really appreciate the effort.👏. Also, thank you to the restaurant staff. We enjoyed the masala tea and great service. The location of the hotel is so convenient. It's just a minute walk to Select City Mall.😊. Love it! Whenever we are India, we will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this property 10 years before and by Western standard it easily qualified for a 4 start hotel then. Now, 10 years later, I booked the same hotel for a near 1 month stay. The place has declined over time tremendously. I booked a suite. 1. Ten Years ago, suites had cooking facilities. These have since been removed. So if your intention is to be able to cook your own food, then these suites are not for you. 2. Bathroom. One of the most important rooms in a hotel is the bathroom. The standards have tremendously dropped. When have a shower, water would not drain quickly, so your feet, at times up to ankle level, are immersed in slow draining water. I complained about this a few times, but nothing changed, notwithstanding their plumbers attending to the problem. 4. The toilet is badly set, making sitting on the toilet a near squat. Luckily, the Select Citywalk Mall next door has clean and nice toilets so where time allows, you are better using the public toilet in the Mall. 5. Cleaning of rooms. In my so many years of international travel, this was my lowest experience. The lady cleaner on the 3rd floor was grossly incompetent. The bathroom had a stench even after she had cleaned. At times she would take used towels but forget to replace them with fresh ones. On 2 occasions, she forgot to put toilet paper. We had to call house keeping to be helped. While always courteous, their service was very slow. 6. Carpet in Corridors - Very dirty on 3rd floor.

We had a pleasant stay at Svelte Hotel in Delhi. The location is excellent, right next to Select Citywalk Mall with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which made everything very convenient. While the check-in experience was just okay — the staff member seemed preoccupied with his cellphone and wasn’t particularly helpful — the rest of our stay was very good. The room was spacious and comfortable, with good amenities for a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety and we really enjoyed it each morning — it was definitely a highlight of our stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient place to stay in South Delhi, and we would recommend it to others visiting the area.

Totally disappointed

Only stopped 1st night as we arrived mid evening.moved to another hotel the following morning . Svelte has NO BAR as advertised, NO food as advertised, limited international breakfast no public areas. Hotel did not meet advertised standards, or that of the stars it claims to have.
