The convenience and location are what makes this hotel a viable options for (business) travelers like me. It definitely needs a major upgrade: the rooms are very outdated with old fixtures especially in the bathroom, limited electrical outlets, and the gym is so tiny with limited equipment and space I opted to walk along the river as my workout rather than be crammed into a tiny space jockeying to use the limited dated equipment. But above all it was the foul smell. Once you get on the elevator and any floor with rooms there is just a terrible sewage like scent that follows you everywhere, and it was most prominent for me in the bathrooms. Truly awful.
It does score major points for the staff service. There was not one person whom I interacted with who wasn't helpful.

Every room comes with an ocean view, steps down to the beach. Activities at night. Band at the ocean on certain nights. Will be back every year! Help with bags and getting to room by golf cart.
