Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation.
There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. « This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. We had planned to visit the islands during the week but found so much to do locally we decided to save the islands for a future visit. « The pod was small but comfortable. It was a little crowded with our luggage and it would have been nice to be able to push our luggage under the bed when not in use. The host provided a french press and coffee and sugar. No salt and pepper or cooking oils were provided if you are planning on cooking any meals. « We extended our stay in Melfort village and were rewarded with beautiful weather. Upper Cooperage is a lovely comfortable apartment which now has an ensuite shower room as well as main bathroom. Everything we need is provided and the village is so peaceful and relaxing. All the staff are welcoming & helpful & the Monday music night was great fun. Recommend a stay here. »

« We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. Most important the staff were just so helpful, they could not do enough. We are already recommending to friends. »
