« We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. We would have been better...

« We stayed stayed there for three nights and skied at saddleback. Easy ride to the mountain, town and the grocery store. It was a cozy cabin with everything you needed. It had a great porch with a nice of view of the lake. Will be coming back. »

« What a wonderful time we had visiting again this year. Each year we choose a different cabin and this year we loved the cozy Birches cabin. The loft was great and what fun we had playing games and hiking on the lake! Can’t wait to visit again next year! »

« Gorgeous little cabin frozen in time. Basics provided, other cabins close but unoccupied when we stayed in September. Beautiful water for kayaking; secluded cove leading to big water if wanted. Tight stairs but upper bedroom more spacious than pics appear. Great wood fireplace! »

« My husband, brother and our sister-in-law planned this Solar Eclipse event for over a year. The rental was amazing. Clean, quiet and had everything we could need. We had a problem with the water filter twice and the management company took care of us immediately! Great response and the plumber that came to the house on a Sunday night was wonderful. I would definitely rent again! »

« Very nice property. Not sure if there is access to Rangeley Lake as we could not find an access location. Property could use a Kurig type coffee machine rather than the old Mr Coffee style machine. Also most properties at this price point have basics such as a hair dryer etc. we will certainly consider this property again in the future. »
