Whether you are interested in hunting, fishing, skiing (Saddleback Mountain is a short distance away), snowmobile or ATV riding (the trails are right outside the front door), swimming, kayaking, jet skiing, or just a relaxing vacation away from it all!! It is located right on Rangeley Lake in Russell Cove. There is a beach area. The house is walking distance to downtown Rangeley and has all the amenities of home with a cabin flair like no other!! This house is situated nicely on the edge of town. We were able to walk across the street to Moose Alley and the Variety Store. Being right on the lake entertained us with the snow mobile trail and wildlife. The cabin was perfectly sized for our family of 4, giving everyone their own space. They had pans and baking sheets avilable to use, so we could make breakfast and then enjoy it on the patio which we did every morning while looking out at the lake. The house was fantastic, cozy (the kids loved the loft), comfortable, and clean. It is right on Rangeley lake, an inlet of the lake actually, which makes it perfect for paddle boarding and canoeing on really calm water. (Although we did venture out beyond the inlet and that was great too.). The town itself is a huge bonus. Delicious restaurants (with gluten free options), supermarket, and this great place to rent water toys. We rented paddle boards, which were delivered with life jackets and picked up after we left. We stayed at Lisa and Parker’s place for our annual Labor Day Weekend trip to Rangeley and it was perfect for our family with a toddler and infant. Great location and the property was very clean.
