"This place definitely deserves a five-star rating across the board. The location is absolutely perfect, and the deck adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Our kids were mesmerized by the boats passing by, and we had an incredible time as a family. Despite the rain during our trip, we still managed to relax and enjoy quality time together. The space was more than enough for everyone, and our host was exceptional. We are definitely planning on staying here again next time we're in town,...

"We had a great time with our friends and family celebrating our daughter's graduation from LSMSA. The house is absolutely beautiful, very clean, spacious and comfortable. "I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area."

"House was as advertised. Fishing was great. We caught over 70 bream. Only one garbage bag was supplied. The dishwasher was broken. The TV in the main bedroom was not working right. These issues would not be particularly important except for the fact that the rate was $275 a night. Otherwise, the location, views and fishing were very nice."

"We rented for a small family reunion where we wanted to be able to enjoy a quiet gathering in a beautiful setting. This one was great. The house was everything we expected and the patio and view of cane lake was beautiful. The owner added his own touch with snacks, coffee pods, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent and other stuff. Plenty of bath linens for a 3 night stay for 6 people. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything and would stay again."
