"Glen and Kristen have provided a sweet, quaint place to stay. We loved everything about it. It was exactly what we needed after hiking and spending time in busy Sedona. Very quiet and peaceful!

"I was at the Tavern Hotel for one night only, it is the best of Cottonwood! Great staff and very comfortable room. In the middle of where all the restaurant and winery options are located in town. "
"Its a great location in Old Town Cottonwood. Convenient parking. Can walk to many attractions. The hotell itself is quaint and cozy with an intimate courtyard with patio seating & grill. The hotel rooms have been totally upgraded too. Nice bath. I love this place, i always retrun"
"Staff were very friendly. It’s a small hotel, clean rooms. Good price for a family with kids because it has a small kitchen. I was by myself. Just stayed one night. "
"The property is appealing in appearance from the outside. I would suggest getting one of the lamps for each room that has outlets for charging e-readers, cell phones, etc. It wasn't easy finding a place to plug in my CPAP machine which must be by the bed. I also have a hearing aid charger. A couple might have even more. There are a number of men staying here from a paving company. They have gotten a bit loud, but are not likely to do that later. "

"We had an excellent stay at Amara. Every person we encountered on staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is perfect for walking all over Upper Sedona. The grounds are very clean and the view is incredible. We will definitely return! "

"Excellent location, peaceful and wonderful grounds. Breakfast was very good and service staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The lounge/restaurant area is so nice and sitting on the patio right on the grass with a bottle of local wine, enjoying the stars, is a memory we will treasure! Only minor inconvenience was room service wasn't always available due to staffing. Not a big deal as a walk across the lawn in the evening is very refreshing. We'll be bag regularly from now on!"
