« Wonderful location, which we chose as a base to explore other coastal towns nearby such as Camden and Belfast. The hosts were lovely, and the gourmet 3 course breakfast served daily was simply amazing. The home was charming, and cozy and filled with everything that made the stay delightful. Walking across the street to a lobster dinner on the water was an added bonus. We’d love to return to the Spouter Inn. »

« We were looking for kayak-friendly owners and property, and scored on both! Sweet spot in a protected cove, access to other coves, islands and river nearby, and open ocean 3 miles south. Easy launching from their dock and a dedicated float that allows easy in and out. Shannon and Gil are great hosts; they arranged lobster from son’s catch one day and cooked it for us! « The lady at the reception was really kind and gave us quite a few good tips for dinner. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a little walk down to the private shore which is really beautiful. The only con here is about breakfast: first, the previous hosts' breakfast had been left on our terrace; second, our own breakfast was quite limited, we would have liked to have a choice. »

« This property is centrally located in Rockland and within walking distance to the harbor, dining, coffee, shopping, and more. We had a great harbor view from our room. And while Trade Winds is old and needs work (smells old and we had to air out our room every time we came back to it.), it's in the ideal location and we would definitely stay there again; just wish the price was a little less expensive. Customer service and communication was top notch and exceeded all expectations. »

« Great views. House pretty clean & supplies were fine except only 3 coffee cups for 6 adults. VACasa said they would get more cups. They failed, never received. Some lights didn't work & lots of dead bugs in light fixtures. »
