It was nice to have a private pool for the kids in the group to splash around. It was also very convenient to have the property fenced so that we could let our furry friends loose. The air condition worked well. Other than b these there were a number of things that needed fixing in the house. First, the wifi information that was shared through the property management company vacasa, was incorrect. We were without wifi for the first day (1/3rd of stay). One of the sinks was leaking and clogging. Effectively we were with one bathroom for 2 days of our stay. The main gate’s lock was broken and the gate could not be locked. All these were eventually fixed and the property management was responsive. The property manager contacted me back quickly when we had a small issue. I gave this a 4 because the listing said there was a firepit, but it was not available, and the yard was full of sticker burs that got caught in our dogs paws everytime she went out in the yard. The property is 20 min from the aquarium and Lexington museum, and about 10 min from Whitecap Beach where we spent lots of time. HEB and Walmart are close if needed.
