"Recommend the cabins because you get more room. Owner greeted us when we drove in and gave us a tour of the place. Very friendly and helpful. We stayed here because it was cheaper then anything in Palacios. everything was like new and worked well. Will stay here again."

"This is my fourth time to come here. As always, the fishing was great and the camper and barn were well appointed. Probably time to update the sleeper sofas in the living room and the dock could use a few more lights, power wash cleaning and replace the old wooden spool. I will definitely be back."

"The place was very clean. Check in was easy. We even got to see a deer right in the back yard and found an arrowhead at the beach. The guy from 2024 that said there were roaches is full of prunes. Zero issues with bugs. Except mosquitoes. They are massive, but slow. They are not inside until you open the door. Kill them quickly and you will be fine. We will rent from Matt again in the future."
