Please note we allow up to 9 guests, but that's for a baby/infant or if the 9th wants to use a queen air mattress we have on the property or if the 9th wants to sleep on the couch. A $25/extra guest fee per night applies to the 9th guest. This does not apply to infants in a pacnplay. This is a 4bed/2.5 bath, 2 story home with 2 King beds, 1 Queen, 2 twins, and a queen sized air mattress. Access: There are two steps up to the welcoming front porch where you can chat and swing! Use a smart lock with a unique to you code for access anytime! We don't live too far away from this property, so we can be there in a few minutes if something comes up! Located in the heart of Elmwood Park, this home is in the absolute most ideal spot in Downtown Columbia! Absolutely beautiful historic homes surround this property along tree lined streets. There is a wonderful park within walking distance with splash pad in the summer and playground and covered picnic areas just .2 miles or 2 blocks down the street! There are some eclectic restaurants closeby! There is free on street parking directly in front of the home and along the side. We have 1 parking spot under the deck for guest use as well. We decorate this home for Halloween & Christmas. The neighborhood really goes all out for major holidays! The Carriage House directly behind the home is also owned by the owner and used as a short term rental. It feels very much just like the house next door. Contact us if you'd like to rent both houses. Help us be great neighbors by not disturbing our neighbors and honoring quiet hours. In addition to federal/state/local laws, and any laws enforced by your booking app, please be mindful and respectful of the following house rules: \- NO Smoking in or on the property! This is a strictly no-smoking property. If you smoke we will charge you an additional cleaning fee plus a $100 charge for ozone remediation. \- No parties, large gatherings, or loud noises. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am \- No unapproved guests, unless otherwise agreed upon/given permission by host. Only the guests quoted on the stay are permitted onto the property. If you have any unapproved guests, we will charge a fee of $100/unapproved guest, and require the extra guests to vacate the premises immediately. Please approve any extra visitors with us prior to bringing them onto the property even stopping by for a few minutes as we have Code Enforcement rules to adhere by in regards to guest count. \-Guests must provide first and last names of all guests and visitors on the reservation, as well as, ages of all guests. \-No bookings under the age of 25\. Anyone under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 at all times while staying on the property. \-Pet friendly with a $75 pet fee for up to 2 dogs, and $100 for 3\. If you bring an unapproved pet/animal, we will charge a $100 fee for additional cleaning, and will require your pet/animal to be removed immediately. Pet fee goes towards extra deep cleaning required to free the home of any allergens for other guests. \- If early check-in or late check-out are needed, please contact us no later than 7pm the day before check-in or check-out. We will try to accommodate we cannot guarantee anything. Unless otherwise agreed upon, you cannot check-in earlier than the noted check-in time and day, or check-out later than the noted check-out time and day. If you attempt to check-in earlier or stay past your check-out time without our permission, there will be an additional fee of $50/hr to pay our cleaners as they are prompt and need to be paid for their waiting time. We may also call the police for trespassing should you overstay your welcome. \- If you break/damage something, or discover something broken/damaged, please let us know \- Do not move furniture / appliances / etc. \- Do not unplug important electronics (i.e. appliances, internet, etc) \- Do not unplug, block, or tamper with exterior surveillance cameras \- Nothing but toilet paper in the toilets To be mindful of during stay: Please help us save our quilts/duvets by sleeping inside the sheets and not on top due to body oils/lotions/sunscreens leaving stains on our nicer duvets which are more expensive to replace. The front swing was a great coffee spot and the neighborhood felt safe and was very cute. Lots of families with young children and dogs walking around. The property is full of historic charm. Hardwood floors, moldings and nice sized bedrooms. We were very comfortable in this house & area. Close to downtown and Greek Village. Plenty of on street parking. Our stay was perfect. The house was exactly as portrayed in pictures, with so much southern charm. It was clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. It was wonderful we all could stay together instead of 3 separate hotel rooms Even more amazing was the very prompt responsiveness from the property manager. We noticed the home was missing a small kitchen item(corkscrew) and one was delivered . This was not asked for or expected, just done. The home is 15 minutes or so from Fort Jackson and only a mile from downtown Columbia and some amazing restaurants! I would highly recommend for anyone who needs to stay in Columbia. ##### Marcia B. Beds/linens are comfortable. So nice to have a place that provides basic amenities like coffee/tea, shampoo/condition, and basic cooking necessities. Property manager was very flexible and accommodating. There is a very nice playground within walking distance. Side deck off kitchen is great for eating outside.
