« The property is located in a small neighborhood right by the water. While there are houses fairly close it is quiet with beautiful views. The house is clean and has good appliances/wifi for a comfortable stay. It is a one bedroom with a big bathroom and living room. The screened in patio is good to avoid the mosquitos. One note is for those with mobility issues, the shower/bathtub has a high ledge with a thicker width to get in/out. »

« This "little" cottage had enough space for comfort and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean, well stocked and inviting. This was the perfect place for a ladies getaway retreat. We could walk just about anywhere we needed to be. 3-4 blocks from the beach and a few more from a small variety of restaurants. Can't wait to visit again! »

« Our stay at the Shore Cottage was everything we could have wanted and more. The home is beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained. Everything was fresh and clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the amenities of the gazebo overlooking the water and our boys spent endless hours playing in the sand and water. Just a short car trip to restaurants and attractions, very manageable. The hostess, Marilyn, is very sweet and extremely helpful and accomodating. Can't beat coffee in the gazebo...

« We had a wonderful long weekend and enjoyed everything this house had to offer. There were so many thoughtful details (fire pit, bikes, coffee, dog treats and on and on). We loved fishing off the dock and the fully fenced in yard was a huge hit for our fur baby. We can't say enough good things and would love to come back! »

« We had a wonderful stay. The house was just as described, a cozy cottage perfect for relaxing with beautiful riverfront views. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the living room and main bedroom we used were comfortable, and the sun porch had great views where you could relax in the AC. « The property is easy to access and the house is filled with natural light from the huge windows. It’s a wonderful getaway if you want to unplug and enjoy a cozy few days of quiet. We found a waterfront Mexican restaurant nearby and walked to the winery next door. It’s very clean and the host is very responsive if you have any questions. Loved drinking coffee on the deck while enjoying the peaceful pond view. Left relaxed and refreshed! »

« This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon! »
