"Beautiful property and area of Costa Rica. Check in process was slow and we had to wait over 2 hours for our room to be ready despite them being aware we were coming early. There was supposed to be transportation to our room but it wasn't available so we had to walk. BE WARNED the property has huge hills, climbs, and stairs. It is not for people who are out of shape or have mobility issues. Thankfully my kids and I are very fit. It's a 15 minute walk to town and 10 to the nearest beach access. Of course they want to rent you a golf cart for the week at $50USD per day. The town (Coco) has lots of food and shopping options. Lots of peddlers selling their goods. You have to be ok with saying no thank you. Food and drinks are not particularly cheap, but the food was excellent everywhere. We never had a bad meal. The property was very clean, yes there are lizards, to be expected. Very roomy. Shower water pressure could have been better. All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend it to friends for sure. Pura Vida!"

"A luxury escape for the whole family. Sandy's house was perfect for our week with two adult children. We all had plenty of space while working ' from home'. The proximity to amenities allowed us to enjoy the pool, access to the gym, pickleball, beach and town. Alex, the property manager, was the icing on the cake. His prompt and courteous attention to any request made the week seamless. We already miss the incredible views"

"It was a relaxing hide-away and convenient loacation with lots of shopping, groceries, and beaches nearby. We were within walking distance of excursion pickups. It was easy to use a base location for our travels in the area too. The pool, just before sundown, was our days end ritual to relax. "

"Hotel Villa del Sol was a very pleasant surprise. We needed a place to stay on short notice and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. The hotel has an ideal location as it is a very short walk from the beach and close by to nearby shopping and eateries. The breakfast served was excellent and the staff were great in our short 1 day stay there. The neighbors chickens and rooster did wake me up earlier than desired the day we were checking out but didn't diminish how highly we thought of our stay. I would highly recommend staying here."
