"We stayed here after driving through the main strip and seeing the amazing nightlife. This hotel is nothing fancy but it’s perfect. The beds were perfect, air worked great; the shower was the only downside (it was small and a little awkward) but the room and property itself was actually quite comfortable. It was perfect for our needs. If you’re in CR - you should be outside anyways haha. We stayed with our 5 year old daughter and felt safe. We had a balcony room that faces a soccer field and were able to see kids playing. This hotel is one block from the beach and it’s truly a gem. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious! The restaurant/pool area is a great vibe and we loved it. I would absolutely stay here again if we were in this area. We came from SoCal and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is also a market attached too that is open until 10 that has snacks and alcohol if needed. "

"Was advertised as a ‘good’ hotel. That is true. No more than that. More like a motel, not boutique hotel. Says daily maid service and bicycle rentals- neither of those existed. Had to ask for more toilet paper. Did not ask for maid service as we did not want it. Shampoo and shower gel available but no conditioner. No beach chairs available even though directly on the beach. Can walk to town but it is about .75 miles on the road or 0.5 on the beach. No specific area to wash sand off feet when returning. Restaurant staff friendly. Would probably stay somewhere else next time."

"We loved our stay at Coco Sunset hill and literally cannot wait to go back. I would suggest arriving during business hours as it was rather challenging to locate in the dark but aside from that everything was excellent. "

"We did last minute booking as our flight was delayed. Appreciated the authentic local experience, very friendly people. Our only issue is we don't speak much Spanish, there were some confusion, but not too bad. "
