« This stay is the third time in a less than 3 months that we have had the pleasure of using this home. As a new mom, I am very weary of the places that I stay in regards to safety of my child. This home is in a great neighborhood, super clean, spacious, and is exactly as described. In addition, the hospital is very close in the event an emergency did arise. The host is always quick to respond to messages and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. 10/10 recommend! »

« We came to Virginia from Michigan for our friend to visit with family she hadn’t seen in 12 years they live on Vetrans hwy. this was about as close as we could get a rental. It was wonderful. Had every amenity. Very clean. Well decorated and not broken down like some rentals. Hot tub was lovely. We fished and cooked breakfast but didn’t have enough time to do everything the lodge had to offer. You could easily stay for one or two weeks and stay busy! « This house has even more space and charm than the photos convey! The house is situated on a nice, quiet street in a lovely area. I loved the roominess, tasteful decor, the screened porch and yard and more. The hosts were communicative and responsive to every need. « This was the perfect place for me and my family. The accommodations were as described and the peace and serenity of the view and critters were an added bonus. We enjoyed playing board games and enjoying one anothers company. The only negative was no wifi password was available, but that lent itself well to more family time, so not a major issue and possibly something I overlooked. « Loved the peace and quiet. Convenient to downtown, but no safe way to walk there (limited sidewalks and very narrow roads with speeding cars). Not much to see on Main St but unfortunately that's the norm these days. A serious drive to anywhere, even parks/trails. The unit itself is 1 decent sized room, but arrangement is a bit awkward. Difficult to watch tv from couch or bed. Was hoping for more of a kitchenette, only had a mini fridge and microwave, same as a hotel. A toaster would be great,...

« The cabin is awesome! Beautifully updated and equipped with everything needed away from home. Cheryl is so helpful and a wonderful cook! It was hard to leave the view from the front porch to ride the Back of the Dragon, but we did, and got our ice cream😊. GPS mislead us getting there but Cheryl immediately redirected us. Thanks for the clean, comfortable cabin! »

« Very cozy cabin, nicely decorated. There were many extras provided by the hosts such as tea and spices and soaps. We took advantage of the firepit out front. No cell signal but wifi and roku provided. We had a lovely visit. Confirm that linens and towels are provided. We did not see that on the listing but did receive an email from the hosts that we needed to bring our own linens. Maybe it was because it was off season. »
