"This was one of the best stays in our life!! The place is so well appointed with everything guests may need...extra towels to toiletries. The place could not be cleaner . It has a most spectacular view of mountains and valley in beautiful SW Va. It was quiet and peaceful. The place is so nice you almost hate to leave and venture out. Every bed is so comfortable. The bathrooms are clean . The kitchen has everything one would need. We loved watching the sunrise from the large covered porch. The location is not far off the beaten path. It was easy to get to nearby Abingdon, Whites Mill ,and of course, Emory and Henry University. We loved every minute of our time here. It will definitely be a place to which we will return!"

"We have spend many years in Saltville some years ago right down the road from here in a camper. This was our first time back and we will be back many more times to this property. When I tell you it is the absolute best place we have stayed in years as we go somewhere different every year for our anniversary. We will be back here for years to come . Forgot howMuch I missed trout fishing and this clean everything you could want property is a hidden jewel. If you love solitude or just to unplug from the world this is it. Host fantastic . Can’t say enough good things about this place"

So cute and comfy.We thought the history of the building and the general store next door was really cool. We enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking tea and listening to the birds and crickets.
