Claypool Hill Vacation Packages

This was honestly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The ONLY redeeming factor was that the staff was super sweet, welcoming, and helpful. We stayed for two nights. The whole place needs an upgrade. Toilet paper and towel holders falling off the walls, dingy grout, etc. ALSO, we did not sleep well either night because of the amount of light from the parking lot coming in through the closed "room darkening" curtain. There was so much light, we kept waking up throughout the night thinking it was morning. The (first) room we had was in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Mold build up in the shower, stained grout, etc. We came back to the hotel on day 2 to close to 100 ants all over the side table and in the beds. I had to literally pick ants off the phone to call down to the desk to ask to be moved to a different room. They very promptly moved us to the room next door (where we found only 3 ants). Oh, and the "gym" was 3 pieces of cardio equipment from the 90s, 1 yoga mat, and 2 35lb dumbbells. lol. Better than nothing. It was overall a terrible stay (other than the helpful staff). Never, ever again will I stay in a Sleep Inn.

Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Ice machine was broken, but they had ice available in the office. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cigarette burn in sheets and blanket.

My husband and I were traveling and needed to make a last minute stop to shower and change before getting back on the road. Since we only needed the room for a couple of hours, we didn't want to spend alot of money so we settled for Motel 6. Immediately, we were quite pleased with the service. We made the reservation at 11am knowing check in wasn't until 3pm. We arrived at noon thinking we'd be asked to come back at 3pm, but the desk attendant checked us right in. The desk attendant was also extremely polite and professional. As for the hotel itself, it's what you'd expect for a Motel 6, but it's readily apparent that the staff care. The grounds were well kept and the parking lot was clear of garbage and debris. The hotel and room itself was a little worn, but well kept and relatively clean. All in all, we were quite comfortable during our short stay. Our only criticisms had to do with the amount of hotel guests we noticed just hanging around outside their rooms blocking the walkways. We also noticed a few live stink bugs in the room that seemed to have gotten in thru a small space under the door. We were only staying a couple of hours, so we didn't even mention it...

Staff were friendly and accommodating to my needs. Great service and clean hotel! Will stay there again if I’m in the area.
