"The bedroom was a unique cave room giving us the experience we were expecting. However the down side was firstly the hotel was very difficult to find and you should make guests aware before booking that the restaurant is not onsite but in a sister hotel quite a walk away involving a steep hill up and then down. However the breakfast and dinner was very good "

"Our hosts were absolutely wonderful! We stayed at Gibos for four nights and the home-cooked Turkish breakfast was superb every day. We were offered excellent recommendations on hikes, dinner options (Sinasos Wine House), and they made our hot air balloon ride reservations for us with a great company (we normally don’t do those kind of activities, but it was incredible!). We felt like family friends by the time we left. Do not hesitate to stay here if you would like an authentic cave hotel experience. Such a unique hotel! "

"Really nice cave hotel in the sleepy little town of Mustafapasa. Room was nice and cool (great to beat the blazing Cappadocia summer heat) and had an enormous bathroom. Delicious Turkish breakfast served daily and terrace is great for hanging out. It is on top of a hill so if you’re planning to walk, be aware of that. Hotel staff speak a little English but were very handy with Google Translate and helped us with all sorts of requests, including bus service, balloon rides, taxi service etc. Housekeeping every 2-3 days. Note that despite the address, this hotel is NOT in Urgup (which is what I thought when I booked). It’s in Mustafapasa, a small town about 11 min away from Urgup. If you’re driving or doing tours, it doesn’t really matter, but if you’re taking public transit it is somewhat inconvenient as you need to take the bus to Urgup before transferring to further destinations."

"This was the most spacious hotel room on my 3 weeks trip. The room impresses you from the first glance. It’s a true cave hotel and the room takes two levels in the cave. This may be a problem for people with mobility restrictions as the bathroom is located on the lower level. Also, the breakfast facility is nice but it’s in a different hotel about a quarter mile away. It was not a problem for me but keep this in mind. The reception is on the upper level of the hotel. It’s logical if you came from the upper street but seems strange if from the lower street. Again, it’s just something good to know. Overall a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. "

"A true haven of peace in the heart of Cappadocia! The village of Mustafapasa is beautiful, authentic, and perfectly located just a few kilometers from the charming town of Ürgüp. After a full day exploring the wonders of the region, it’s a real joy to come back to such a calm and serene place. The hotel is stunning, tastefully decorated, and has a truly peaceful atmosphere. But what makes the stay truly special is the incredible hospitality of Selin, Badri, and his mother. They are exceptional hosts—attentive, kind, and always available. You immediately feel at home with them. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. You can book with your eyes closed,it’s a gem for anyone wanting to discover Cappadocia in an authentic and peaceful setting."
