I stayed at Hotel Edelweiss from July 23 to 26 and had a very peaceful and pleasant experience.Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully managed. The room was quiet and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a full day in the mountains.
The team was kind and welcoming, which really added a warm touch to the stay. There’s a common area where guests can enjoy free coffee, tea, and water — a nice gesture even though these aren’t available in-room.
The location is good, with lovely views and a calm atmosphere, though do keep in mind there’s a short but steep uphill walk (around 7 minutes) from the train station.
Breakfast was modest but enough to start the day. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly base in Wengen. I appreciated the hospitality and would gladly return."
"The view from our balcony was incredible! Very close to the train station and gandola ride. Staff was very friendly, especially Miriam at the front desk, who attempted to make us drinks when the bar was closed. She did a great job and was so nice to accommodate us.
