« Overall we had a great stay and the owner was quick to respond and even took the time to meet up. The property has a couple of really nice decks and it seems the prevailing wind is towards the house which has a nice cooling effect, and will push boats back towards shore in case legs are tired. Many sights are within 25-60 driving if the property. Cleaning could have been better and the lack of wi-if (was not listed as amenity, but we felt it’s a normal expectation nowadays) was disappointing...

« Good stay. This place looks brand new inside. It's a. outside of town 15 min but if you are looking for a nice, peaceful, clean location, look no further. »

« Oh, wow! Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad… The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better. »

« Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. A few excited moments at dusk when we caught sight of several whales waaaaay out – okay, turned out be distant shoals but what fun! Enjoyed long walks … to...

« Lovely property. Exactly as advertised. A few suggestions for Mr. Noblett to consider. The dining chairs should be retightened after each visit as a few chairs were awfully wobbly. Because we were a party of 5 women over the age of 60 the amount of toliet paper was insufficient. We left him a pack. If choosing to use white towels, they should be bleached on some sort of regular rotation. Some looked decidedly dingy. Otherwise Tilley Cove House was an absolutely a wonderful spot to vacation. »

« We had a very enjoyable stay. The home is pretty, clean, and has everything needed to stay. The in house laundry was excellent to have. Saved much time trying to find a place to do it. Nancy was a great host. She was very attentive to our requests and answered our questions in a very timely fashion. Would stay her again. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the South Shore Oasis. David thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and at home. The house has a very well appointed kitchen, gas BBQ, portable fans in many rooms, plenty of bath and beach towels and games for kids. He also spoiled our dog with treats and his own bed. The property is located on the main road to Chester, centrally located for day excursions to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. »

« La maison est tellement mignonne, bien organisée, propre, décorée avec goût et sans défaut de construction. Dans la ville de Chester, la plus charmante vue depuis longtemps. Petite plage et bassin d'eau pour les plus petits avec des restaurants et boutiques dans le village. On peut facilement faire le trajet à pied (2 km). Bill er Sandra feront tout pour que votre séjour soit inoubliable, et il le sera! Je recommande chaudement. »
