It was exactly as described nestled on the hillside of Champion. A very welcoming site after 14 hours of driving. The house was neat, very clean, and stocked with everything you would need for your stay. All you needed was your clothing and food for your stay. It was so nice to have a "home" to lay your head down after a busy day instead of a tiny and stuffy motel. Our hostess, Katie, was an absolute angel! We are an older couple, first time of booking something other than a hotel or motel, and the map we used kept turning us in the wrong directions. She was so patient and understanding of the situation. I give her 101 stars for that alone. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the UP definitely check this property out. It's only 15 minutes from Ishpeming and 30 minutes from Marquette. Plenty of places to site see, activities to do, convenient shopping, and wonderful views. ##### Billye T.
