House is beautiful; check in was easy; hosts very communicative. Location is close to lots of great sites, however, you do have to drive a bit if you want to eat in restaurants. Having said that, the house is fully equipped if you’d like to grocery shop and prepare your own food. Also, location is remote enough that we had a great viewing of the Northern Lights! That was spectacular.

awesome view, lovely cottage for the two of us. Easy to find. very modern. Would thoroughly recommend. It was perfect for our last night in Iceland! Thanks for having us!

Just wow!!! The view and how the owners managed to build such a tiny cabin (as per the description) while using every inch of the cabin to make it useful and easy to use! Great job and we wish we stayed more than one night!

Comfortable rooms, beds. Coffee always available either in your room or lobby. Friendly, professional front desk. Room always well cleaned with fresh towels. Perfectly located.

Great stop on the Golden Circle, especially if stoping at the tomato restaurant. Breakfast was good: hot tub could have been hotter, but it was nice to be able to relax in it. Overall a great place.

Had a great stay at the hotel, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff pleasant and very helpful when we needed some assistance. The hot tubs don't have jets but they were still nice and warm given that it was a little chilly outside. I would definitely return to Hotel Grimsborgir.

The cottages were basically brand new when we visited. Everything was spotless and in great shape. The cottages were beautiful and the views were stunning. The hot tub and laundry were awesome amenities. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We loved the different style of staying on a working farm, but with all the benefits of a modern stylish hotel. The restaurant was casual, but the food was excellent, and the windows into the barn to watch the dairy cattle eating was fun and entertaining. The location was great, as it was close to three great sites: Bruarfoss, Geyser, and Gullfoss, so we missed some of the crowds.

we had a wonderdul stay at this property. the staff were incredible and welcoming. we were upgraded to a beautiful room overlooking the river. restuarant was excellent and breakfast had a wide variety of options and was so delicious. we would highly recommend this property.

Excellent cottage, quiet, very clean, well equipped, very warm, in a beautiful place. Thank you so much for an amazing stay !

Clean room, friendly staff, reasonably priced, convenient location.

Loved staying out in the country with views of mountains and northern lights. Beautiful villas, just wish there was laundry in units. Only issue was with getting assistance on check in with only toilet in unit missing parts and not working. Figured out after messaging with "Vladdimir" over 1.5 hours that it was just a chatbot that wasnt actually doing anything about our concern like it said it was. After calling from hotel around the corner around 7:30 pm, they did get us an upgraded unit,...

This property was clean, quiet, and in a convenient location! You have to make a reservation for breakfast the day before, but you can book a room with a kitchenette. Bedroom was a little small and could use a little updating but, overall, it was a comfortable stay.
