"Pleasure to go back"

"This is a real little gem! You drive through a commercial and industrial area and drop down into a peaceful oasis surrounded by meadows and next to the river. It is quiet and feels like you are much further away from civilization. The many outdoor spaces with hammocks and seating areas draw you immediately outside. We love rustic, and this is it! Expect to hand wash your dishes, however the place comes fully appointed with everything else you will need. Our daughter was graduating from Ft Lewis, and we hosted the sweetest party on the deck and down by the fire pit. Our dog is still in mourning over having to leave his bird watching spot on the deck and the Animas River behind!! "

"We booked our room a long time ago. By the time we made the trip, my wife was in a wheelchair. The hotel is not very suitable for handicapped people. "

"Better than expected. Medium price point but this place punches above its weight .The front desk staff was very helpful with letting me check in early. The continental breakfast is satisfying and has good options. Rooms are clean and very functional. Walmart is right. Next door and lots of amenities around .I would definitely stay here again, from one night to one month--or longer. A nice "home away from home" extended stay option if you're in Durango for business or exploring."

"Great breakfast, (not included) and lovely location. Staff were very nice. But a bit surprised there was a parking fee in a smallish town like Durango. Internet worked after I got a promo-code. But not before. If it doesn't work go to the front desk and they'll give a code. But overall liked it."
