Pleasantly surprised by the whole stay.

I wanted to love this hotel but ... through 15 days in Nova Scotia, we stayed at three official hotels and this was our least favorite by a pretty good margin. It's a weird hotel, in many ways. We were assigned - to our surprise - a handicap accessible room. It was not great. The floor in the bathroom was actually slick - I slipped on it when it was dry. We were on the 10th floor and the water pressure for the shower was almost non-existent. My wife didn't want to wash her hair because she wasn't sure she could rinse it well enough. There wasn't nearly enough room in the bathroom for 'stuff' like your dope bag or toiletries. The bed is probably the hardest we experienced in our trip. The staff is a bit - maybe more than a bit - pretentious (excepting the valets, they were great). The in-house restaurant was the worst dining experience in our trip. Parking is the most expensive we experienced. The room service was - well I wanted to say hit or miss but it was mostly a miss. They didn't replenish the in-room coffee/tea service. (I know, a small thing - but at the prices they have, it's kinda a given.) Plus, they were super busy. We had better experiences elsewhere.

Everything was perfect
