Very clean and with a great lay out for 2 couples. The view is amazing and we found it hard to tear ourselves away to visit Digby and Annapolis Royal. Our host greeted us and showed us around the cottage and was able to give us lots of information about the location and surrounding area. Gavin and Laura were perfect hosts, attentive but not intrusive, and knowledgeable about the area. We had our own little deck overlooking the water - stunning sunsets! It was cool but sunny weather; the walk along the beach during low tide was brisk but we enjoyed the scenery and watching the clam diggers! We lost our daughter a year ago and wanted to get away from home and visit her resting place in Weymouth. This place was a happy haven where we laughed danced and enjoyed a nice family vacation. It was the best cottage we have ever rented. We were shocked when we opened the door. The deck was amazing. You could see the incredible tides coming in and out. The cottage was clean, updated, comfortable, and spacious. Gavin was an amazing host who gave us suggestions and we texted frequently. We had the Linden cottage- 2 bedroom and it was like a home away from home. The space is clean and so peaceful. My kids loved the cottage. The beach was great for exploring. Close to Digby, Annapolis Royal and Port Royal- and this property is at the mouth of the very historic Bear River. Home to historic Micmaq and Acadian communities. You stand on very historic land here. Gavin was wonderful.
