We did a lot of sightseeing, so the house was sufficient since we weren’t there for long periods of time. If you are looking for a luxurious accommodation this isn’t the rental for you. If you just want a place to sleep, then this home is perfect for you."

"We loved our stay in Stonington. The house was perfect for our family. Everything you wanted was walking distance. Great restaurant just 2 doors down. The town in quaint and a great place to go to relax. We did Eco tour which we really enjoyed. Stonington is not the place o go if you are looking for touristy type things to do. It is for those who want to relax, hike, kayak and just enjoy the views. We bought lobster from co op and steam at the house. Perfect"

"House size and view were fantastic. It was isolated but yet still not far to restaurants or grocery. Only 30 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Downside was that it was not very clean and there was no hand towels in bathrooms to use. We also had to find a closet with towels and one of the beds was not made. So we had to find sheets and make ourselves. Finally it was listed there was a futon when really there was only a futon mattress so one of us slept on a floor on a very old futon mattress. I...
