The staff at this hotel are tremendously, friendly and helpful. We loved how they kept the granite façade of the old Genesee bank as part of their remodel. Some aspects of the hotel show their age, and signage could be more clear for things like the workout room, but overall lovely. The restaurant was great as well, and although my fingerling potatoes were a little bit too salty, otherwise the food was excellent. We will be back if we need to visit that part of Buffalo again.

I would most likely not stay at this hotel again. I’ve travelled and stayed at many hotels and this one was the worst. We found moths in the room, the beds very uncomfortable, no coffee machine or water to make the coffee in the room (but the description says coffee maker) you have to request it on check in. The staff was great and polite they brought a coffee maker to the room. The free breakfast was not worth it. The bread was hard. The pool was nice though and it’s close to target
