Rooms are dated but clean. The property is beautiful. Gorgeous, well kept beach and pool area. Great kids pool area (definitely the highlight of our trip) but not a lot of activities for kids/families. Food is good, buffet had a decent selection. Spa was amazing. Overall, good for the price.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was really nice and we enjoyed some of the restaurants. Not all the restaurants were good, wait times were sometimes long and sometimes food would come cold. Most of the staff were very friendly but we did find that some of the staff were less than helpful when we had questions related to our stay.

The staff was always attentive, kind, caring, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I hope next year we can come god willing. The room was clean and spotless. We loved that it included water and drinks. Can’t thank Victor, Enrique, and Cesar enough for always being kind and sweet. They made us feel welcomed. This is a great place to stay! We highly recommend it.

Room was clean , great help full staff. All restaurants should be open daily. 2 hour waits r not acceptable. More staff needed in restaurants. Coarses should come out 5 minutes apart to enjoy appetizers, salad wait 5 minutes, soup wait 5 minutes. Steak tasted like it was boiled then fried, tough to eat. Dave at pool bar was fantastic and a very pleasant person. I would consider coming back. We did enjoy our stay.

As soon as you arrive, one of the staff members swoops in to entice you into a breakfast that turns into a high pressure sales experience. They don’t like to hear no, so different associates came to the table to make the deal better. The room was okay. A little run down. The bed was comfortable. Good A/C. Lots of drinks available in the room, no mini bottles. There were splotches of black paint on the bathroom tile. The toilet seat broke. The hot water was reversed. The restaurants were good. Staff was excellent! Jesus, Auceli, Roberto, Antonia.

The hot tube was never hot, no activities for adults, only 1 restaurant option for breakfast and lunch,adult drink menu limited and bars close at 11pm so if you want to party you’re unable to. Not really alot of activities for kids. Checking in and checking out was extremely slow despite open counters being open. They just stand around and say they can’t help you. I wouldn’t recommend.

Toilet kept clogging. Loud people all through the night. Timeshare salesman became confrontational when we declined purchase. Disco music starts pounding at the pool at 08:30 through 22:00 regardless of occupancy. No food service at the pool. Pool "eatery" was hotdogs, burgers and fries only for the entire week. Self served. Restraunts were an hour and a half wait unless arrived at 18:00 when they opened. One restaurant is only for "Members" which we had no option unless purchased $36,000 timeshare. Adult pool and restaurant on 2nd floor had same "Member restrictions" that we were unaware when booking. Wait staff was nice if tipping. Food in restaurants were good when available. Drinks at all the bars were good. No upper shelf liquor unless "member" which again, unaware at booking.

The hotel and rooms could use some clean up and updating. The restaurants (Samauri, Manhattan & the steakhouse) all served great food! The Italian restaurant was ok at best… most of the food came out cold and even one meal was still partially frozen. Go early to get towels and chairs by the beach. The beach is really nice but very busy due to a public beach nearby. The staff was friendly but very misinformed. When asked about times for things (e.g. shows, restaurant openings, etc.), we were given 3 different answers each time by 3 different people. We were willing to be flexible and look past it all because it was wonderful to be on vacation together as a family. However, the hardest point to look past was during check in, the woman checking us in told us that on our last day we were to cut off the bracelets and leave them in our room. All 5 of us heard and remembered this. Upon checkout (and with our transfer to the airport currently waiting), we were told we couldn’t check out without the bracelets in hand. I mentioned that we needed to get on our transfer and asked if they could send someone up to get them from the room. I was firmly told “no” that I needed to go get them myself in order to finish the check out process. She also claimed that we were never told to leave our bracelets in the room. Due to the slow elevators, I proceeded to run up and down 8 flights of stairs. One little act of customer service could have gone so far. She ruined it for us.

We had a great experience and stay at Seadust. My youngest wants to return. I felt safe swimming at the beach, lifeguard was on top of things. I didn’t get drink service at the beach but noticed others who had and the staff were quick and friendly. Service staff were very lovely. I speak very little Spanish and am grateful for those who suffered though me trying (staff spoke great English). The woman at the breakfast egg bar was lovely, I made sure to tip her. Room was very large. It was slightly dated but that didn’t bother us as we weren’t expecting a brand new facility. Next time, I would bring my own volleyball as that was hard to come by as we wanted to play early morning before the crowd and heat. I would also bring smaller peso bills so I could tip more consistently (that’s on me, I wasn’t thinking). I would definitely recommend to my friends.
