« I love staying here. It is so clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the front porch soaking in the beautiful natural world. It far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet but close enough to grab delicious food for meals. I’ll always stay here when visiting Eminence. »

« Our stay was perfect for what we needed which is rest, reset and refreshment when not working. We were surrounded by nature. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our stay was cut short because of heavy rains and storms and some roads being impassible to the cabin. »

« It was a great cabin! We all enjoyed it very much! The hill to the water was brutal. I would recommend fixing that for clients or be more up front about it. It is dangerous unless you are about 11-35! The location was great and very easy to get to and close to town. »

« Such a pleasant location. Quietly tucked away with a relaxing view across the pasture of horses. We loved spending time sitting in the screened-in porch every morning as we drank our morning cup of coffee. Due to the inclement weather, the porch also provided us the opportunity to enjoy the scenery while staying nice & dry! The kitchen was a little small, but was well stocked. The queen bed had a memory foam mattress that was too soft for our liking, but most likely would have been comfortable...

« The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around! »

« Exactly as described. Enjoyed walks with our dog down the quiet country road to the pretty creek. Very safe being off leash. Enjoyed kayaking with Windy outfitters just a few miles away. The town is also a few miles away with gas, groceries, eating places. Everyone is so friendly in Missouri! (We are from Illinois). Recommend the Pie Barn in town too. If you enjoy cooking you might bring some sharp knives, maybe a big pot and some dish towels. The hosts provide only one dish cloth and one dish...

« Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. « We cane for the total eclipse and couldn’t have picked a better place. The community is friendly, the parks are fun and the house was the oerfect balance of old and new. The beds are comfortable and the firepit makes for great storytelling and s’mores. Highly recommend. »
