Emailed the farm to let them know that we would be checking in later on the evening. Laura emailed me back within the hour giving me instructions if I was going to be later than anticipated. Arrived around 7.15pm to be greeted by Laura. Gave us the keys and showed us to our accommodation which was in the barn, room 11\. The room was very clean and plenty of tea and coffee if you needed it. Had a good night's sleep after a long day. Went to breakfast where you could help yourselves to fruit, cereals, tea and coffee. To top it off we were then served with a delicious full English breakfast as well as toast. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the food and went out of their way to make sure everything was okay. No mirror over the sink for partner to use when shaving. Full length mirror covered in rust spots and overhead light shone orange making it difficult to apply makeup. Breakfast was lovely (it would have been helpful if waitress had explained about cereals/fruit etc also available). Breakfast room is very tired with peeling wallpaper and plaster. The room was so comfy and warm. The doggies loved the setting too and we found the attention to detail for us all lovely. We love rural areas and this is a beautiful spot in Wick to stay in. Breakfast was gorgeous. Wish we could have stayed an extra night. We will book here again. Check in was easy (instructions and keys left in an envelope in porch of the main house). Room was comfortable, we were in Room 12 in one of the converted barns. Plenty of tea, coffee, toiletries etc. Full English Breakfast served in the main house was excellent (other options offered) with good local products. Laura was very helpful and friendly.
