"Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights with our golden retriever. Such a beautiful setting and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat and boat house. We swam in the lake every day. Highly recommend checking out the Rainbow Falls trail and Lampson Falls trail nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and beds were comfy. "

"Didn't catch any fish but my husband and I had a great stay for our 11th anniversary. Some much needed quiet. The bar up the road is full of great people, there's tons of trails for side by sides or trucks, all in all a really nice property."

Would definitely consider returning (Location, layout, well equipped kitchen, games, communication with owner, etc.) Two notes to help future renters: The AC only cools the downstairs which includes one bedroom. The three bedrooms upstairs got quite warm (June) and some of the windows didn’t open making it hard to cool off at night. The house could use some additional cleaning. The available vacuums proved to be insufficient. "

"We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. "
