The elevation of this cabin improved our views of the surrounding woodland. The architecture and build quality are excellent, making it a cozy getaway. Although temperatures outside hovered around zero, this cabin was comfortably warm at all times. The fireplace added to the ambiance. Our host was very responsive and even sent his maintenance guy by to check on the furnace room to ensure nothing would disrupt our visit during the Arctic-like weather. We cooked a lot of our meals during our stay and found the kitchen to be adequately stocked with cookware, seasonings, and dinnerware. Note, if you are a bit of a coffee snob, set your expectations appropriately; there is only a drip coffee maker (as the materials point out). We had some of the best sleep in months. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillow options and well-kept linens. The bedroom was quiet and dark. All-in-all, we were very happy with our stay. ##### Jon S. The cabin is beautiful appointed and thoughtfully laid out. Darrin’s communication is top-notch, and the neighbors are friendly (we accidentally went to the wrong cabin when we first arrived).
