Rue parfaitement calme, mais quartier animé et hyper pratique pour visiter Boston et les environs (metro à 5 minutes à pied). Parking gratuit a l'arrière. The Davis Inn was lovely to stay at. Close by a lot of coffee cafes, bars , and a grocery store. The house self is in well taken care of beautiful inside and out. Ron one of the owners was very helpful and communicated well and was very helpful. There is breakfast options with Eggs, Yogurt and Bannas and cereal and etc. Perfect location for a New England get away . There is TV with Roku in it so can watch Netflix and Hulu. The Davis Station for the Train is right around the corner a five minute walk at most. The hotel is a charming B&B in a safe and quiet area, with convenient access to the Red Line MBTA station for easy access to Cambridge and Boston. There are also amenties in Davis Square itself including bars, restaurants and the Somerville Theater. The room was very clean and well maintained. The communal area is very quaint with a large dining table for enjoying breakfast with the other guests, and a selection of books, games and DVDs for borrowing during the stay. Breakfast includes bread with toaster, peanut butter, honey and coffee laid out as well as eggs, fruit, jams and yoghurts in the fridge, and homemade bakes on the table. A cat lives in the hotel but doesn't go into the rooms. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. However, be advised that the building isn't manned by staff 24/7\. Instead, entry is secured via a key code on the outside doors as well as your room itself. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with my booking outside of my control and I was unable to gain access to the property when I arrived. After contacting Expedia to explain my situation they were able to inform one of the staff who rectified the issue and let me in. I was fortunate that this happened mid-afternoon and was easily resolved but had I arrived late at night this may have been a problem.
