"We stayed here for 2 nights to attend Merlefest in Wilkesboro. Checking in was simple with the help of extremely nice staff. Our one bedroom unit had plenty of room for 2 people and was very comfortable and clean. The unit was quiet which we really liked. The unit was well equipped with everything you would need. We enjoyed the property and its beautiful location. We definitely would stay here again!"

"It's always such a treat to stay here..... I literally decided to stay up in the mnts even having to drive down to Asheville for work the next morning... the place is wonderfully kept, great staff - and an amazing setting with excellent food.... Looking forward to my next visit !"

"Everything was good overall. Great location, gorgeous view, comfortable, nice new bathrooms, except Fire place was not working. Walls were thin, windows wouldn’t all close, floors creaked every step. Just didn’t seem well made structurally. Safe but old. "

"Very tired, shabby and in need of upgrade ... which they are working on. I read on reviews 'nice views', which i couldn't see through the dirty windows. 'Restaurant on premises' was closed due to renos so we had to go down the windy mountain road into town for dinner and breakfast (The Town Tavern in Banner Elk was excellent). Carpet desperately needs changing. What they could clean they did ... clean comfy bed (but a Murphy bed? how do you clean behind that? You don't! ). New shower curtain ... thank you. Shower head is awf. Linens clean. My suggestion, wait until renos are done and then give it a try ... there's potential"

"This property is gorgeous, clean and perfect for a relaxing stay. The creek and waterfalls outside are beautiful. We left the windows and doors open as much as possible so we could hear them while we were at the property. We can't wait to come back again in the future!For those traveling with pets, the white house and green house each have a dog that come outside without leashes. A yellow lab and a Weimaraner. The lab is very friendly but came up on the deck without warning several times. The Weimaraner is barky but was also fine. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was beautifully decorated and super cozy. We had everything we needed and our hosts were very attentive. I only wish we could have stayed longer. "
